Job Description

Smart Access is on a path of changing the way frontline and deskless workers train and learn, and we are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Analyst to join our growing team. You will be working across our web and mobile platforms to create, code, and improve the server-side applications and databases that when combined with front-end code, help create a functional, seamless experience for the end-user.

About the Role

In this role you will be: 

  • Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure
  • Working closely with backend developers to ensure stability and performance
  • Working with the Data Science team to assist with the Data Warehouse, and in the Business Intelligence and Information Management practices 
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessments and risk management
  • Performing Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Coordinating and communicating within the team and with customers
  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Striving for continuous improvement and building continuous integration, continuous development, and a constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Managing periodic progress reporting to Management and the customer

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • Moderate (2+ Years) experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
  • Experience with developing and executing Unit, Integration, and End to End tests
  • Database creation, integration, and management
  • Understanding of accessibility and server compliance
  • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
  • Understanding of Python, BASH
  • Configuration and managing databases such as Redis, PostgreSQL, Big Query
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services such as Docker, Git, BitBucket, Big Query, App Engine
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, including the ability to discover the true requirements, underlying feature requests, and recommend alternative technical and business approaches
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive with the intention of flawless execution
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask

Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 based on experience
